alright alright. going to see maryallyn tonight old friend havent seen her since 1999 i think. she lives in baltimore now but is now here visiting her boyfriend. i still havent gotten that dynamic ip stuff working. crap. i am working on my final paper for german cinema with this guy and a girl named laura. yeah. i only have shit 4 pages of the as yet unnamed script. well i think it is around 10 minutes or so there is just a lot of long shot landscape stuff... i can see it in my head but its hard to describe without being too verbose. i guess i can go back through and beef it up more but i alread have the first act. i might add in another scene or two but i need to get started on this next part. iceland's landscape is mostly very foreign to people around here. the lack of trees makes the terrain resemble tundra, though most of it isnt always frozen. and also i have to consider the fact that during the summer the night is like 3 hours long or less. i think though if it is winter it will be too snowy. the whole film will be blank and white i want it to be desolate but living. green and brown not white. i am going to have to change some of the end. maybe its late summer early autumn before it snows but the nights have started getting longer. i wonder if the weather channel has info on that. well hell right now its 48F. not bad at all. here its 52F right now! Jeezus i guess it can be now. dear god in akureyri its 54F and its 2200 at night! keflavik its 48F with winds 38mph gusting up to 45mph from the southeast. sunrise 0547 set 2115. in akureyri 0528 2059. AUGUST 15 in akureyri: sunrise 0451 set 2141 mean temp 50F. so its much warmer that i thought it would be. but windy. not too rainy though. anyway.
